The service

Zero-Trace Chat lets you create or join a temporary chat room using a numeric code. Rooms are automatically and permanently deleted after a short period.

Acceptable use

By using this service, you agree not to use it for:

• Anything illegal under the laws applicable to you
• Harassment, threats, or abuse directed at others
• Sharing or soliciting child sexual abuse material, or any content sexualizing minors
• Distributing malware, or attempting to disrupt or attack this service
• Any activity intended to exploit, deceive, or defraud another user

Limited ability to respond to abuse

Because this service is designed not to retain conversation content or identifying information, we have limited technical ability to investigate specific incidents after the fact. Do not use this service for illegal activity on the assumption that anonymity makes it consequence-free.

No warranty

This service is provided "as is," without guarantees of uptime, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Age requirement

You must meet the minimum age required by the laws of your country to use this service. This service is not directed at children.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this service at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this service, including anything said or shared by other users in a chat room.
